"The Wonderful Musician"

Oh, there once was a wonderful music maker
Just a mortal man
Who rode through the forest to find himself a friend

Now the things that he saw were strange & frightening
Monsters all around
The love that he sought was nowhere to be found

Oh, he grew so lonesome,
Quiet as the wood
But what made him lonesome
Also made him good!

For he knew in his heart that the day would come
When all men would be free
And the beasts would be stilled
And sing in harmony

So onward he rode and he sailed his heart
Upon the ruby wind
And he prayed that the forest would bring him a friend

Oh, he grew so lonesome,
As the stars above
But what made him lonesome
Also made him love!

Now if there is anyone out there searching
You might pass him by
The dark all around him
And lightness in his eye
